| ATC-driven approach Scenario Central and South Florida (SE3) | ||
Practice 25 realistic approaches in a real-time, non-threatening environment to 20 airports. These interactive scenarios use authentic controllers’ voices. They will expose you to a variety of approaches with realistic, and often challenging, clearances. You'll get holds, missed approaches, NDBs, full approaches with procedure turns, plus a variety of surprises you must be prepared for but may not get the chance to fly in the real world. This is simply the safest and most efficient way to experience, practice and perfect all aspects of approaches under simulated IFR conditions. Covers:
ATC add-ons require ELITE Version v7.05 or higher to run. |

| ATC Scenario Southern California | ||
| ELITE's ATC scenarios allow you to practice flying approaches "in the system". Choose from one of 28 approaches in Southern California. Shoot an ILS, localiser, localiser back course, VOR/DME or NDB approach into one of 12 featured airports. Listen for your call sign amidst the chatter of other aircraft and controllers on frequency and comply with ATC's instructions. Follow vectors and clearances closely or you'll be reminded to get back to your last assigned altitude or heading. You can even have your virtual co-pilot work the radios for you! Comes complete with approach plates. | ||
| IFR Training Tutorial | ||
| ELITE's IFR training manual and training profiles disk form a complete tutorial system. Perfect for students starting instrument training and for instrument pilots wanting to brush up on procedures, ELITE's IFR training tutorial provides a detailed, step-by-step, experience of the fundamentals of instrument flying. Over 30 lessons take you from scan technique through performance profiles, navigation, approach and departure procedures to cross-country flying. Using the inbuilt training profiles, preview each lesson's manoeuvre on ELITE's powerful MAP screen. To instantly get the "big picture" fly the lesson and then evaluate your performance against the lesson profile. | ![]() |

| iFunction Toolbar | ||
Never have to remember keyboard shortcuts again! ELITE's new shortcut toolbar is a convenient way to access all the most commonly used keyboard commands packaged in a simple, easy-to-use, key arrangement. The toolbar is fully programmable with 2 banks of 15 presets each and supports macros for functions requiring multiple-key commands. The iFunction eliminates the need to have to remember keyboard shortcuts or use the mouse to change pages/screens or invoke any ELITE function normally controlled with the keyboard. Any ELITE keyboard command can be programmed such as FREEZE, MAP Page, MALFUNCTIONS Page, CONTROL Page, WEATHER Page, METAR Page, Zoom IN/OUT, Scroll LEFT/RIGHT UP/DOWN, Views LEFT/RIGHT/FRONT, Engine Sound ON/OFF, etc. Operation is intuitive and ELITE page changes are instantaneous eliminating any pausing of the simulation due to operator "intervention." Instructor station operation becomes totally transparent so students enjoy uninterrupted flying. The toolbar can be mounted virtually anywhere for easy accessibility. |

| IPM (Interconnectivity Protocol Module) | ||
Now use your handheld GPS or EFB with ELITE! Handheld GPS units and EFBs have become extremely valuable navigation companions in recent years. The relatively low cost and capability of these devices is impressive, many with functionality rivaling some of the most sophisticated panel-mount technology. Unfortunately, until now, there has been no good way to thoroughly learn and practice flying with these devices BEFORE climbing in the cockpit. ELITE recognized this need and now supports communication with handheld GPSs and EFBs so you can fly with your specific device, on your computer, at your convenience. The new IPM is the safest, most efficient way to become proficient with your favorite cockpit companion. Requires ELITE Pilot V8 Software. Computer must have an available serial port or serial-to-USB converter for GPS/EFB connection! |

| VFII (Virtual Flight Instructor - Instrument) | ||
VFII is a stand-alone, scenario-based IFR instruction and evaluation program that utilizes a virtual CFII to guide pilots through a progression of flight lessons centered on the requirements found in the FAA’s Instrument Rating Practical Test Standards guide. VFII is perfect for pilots in the process of obtaining an instrument rating or for instrument pilots that maybe haven't flown IFR in a while and are in need of a refresher. Each lesson is evaluated and logged for future reference so pilots can track their progress and refine those skill areas in need of additional attention. |
