Developed to meet JAR-FSTD A requirements for BITD certification the single-pilot ELITE S612 BITD is the lead-in product of ELITE's JAA certified simulator range. It comes with a factory acceptance for JAR-FSTD A and features either a single or twin-engine piston aircraft. Optionally, it can be configured as convertible training device for the Cessna 172RG and Baron B58 layout, enabling versatile initial and recurrent training for the PPL.

BITD

The ELITE S612 BITD features a single pilot, fully enclosed spacious cockpit with a separate detached instructor’s station. Part of the delivery package is a JAR-STD 4A factory acceptance along with relevant qualification test guide documentation for the Cessna 172 and/or Beech Baron B58.

The S612 BITD is also approved under FAA regulations as AATD and under CASA regulations as a Level B FSD2 training device.

As an external visual system is not mandatory under JAR-FSTD A, ELITE offers the visual system as an upgrade. As with most ELITE FSTD, the S612 BITD is upgradeable to the next level of certification (FNPT I or FNPT II) to accommodate new requirements.
